Disclosure Policy

You will have noticed that I have advertisements on my website and blogs. I will also, from time to time, run an advertisement within the main body of one or more of my blogs as what is called "in context advertisement".  These in context advertisements not only allow me to maintain the website and/or blog on which they appear, they provide for my primary source of income.

As a full-time family caregiver (the highest stress unpaid job in the world) I can not simply go to the local fast food joint (which is 15 miles away one way) and get a job flipping burgers on a grill.  My work needs to be something that I can do around the chaotic uncertainty that is the caregiver's schedule. Therefore, I am an Internet advertising copywriter.

In addition to providing written advertising on a number of blogs, which I maintain myself, through a variety of blog marketing entities such as PayPerPost and Blogitive, I also provide advertising on a variety of websites and write advertising copy for others to use in their e-mail or Internet campaigns.

Below is the current disclosure policy for my blogs. I reserve the right to modify this disclosure policy from time to time for any reason, and it is the responsibility of the reader to refer back periodically to this policy page if they want to be advised of the current policies of my blogs and websites on disclosure and advertising.

This policy is valid from 05 March 2007

This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. We believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

The owner of this blog is compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though the owner of this blog receives compensation for posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers' own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

To the best of my knowledge this blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.

To the best of my ability I follow the guidelines of not only the blogosphere in general, but those of the FTC and BBB in reguards to Internet based advertising.

If you have any questions or concerns about this policy or my websites and/or blogs please feel free to address those concerns to me in an e-mail: sandra (at) phantascene (dot) com.

Thank you
