2020 was a year from hell, so when I decided that my PC would be named after Days Gone, it just made sense for me to add in 2020 and Survival Mode.
When Cyberpunk 2077 was set to come out, I purchased a new graphics card to upgrade our PC to be able to run the game.
I then discovered that there was not a spare cable for the power the graphics card needed, so I purchased a new power pack.
The Lenovo PC that we had has a proprietary 10 pin connector on the motherboard, which meant that I could not use the new power supply with it. So...
I bought a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 for the PS4 and started slowly buying the parts that I needed for a new PC build. In May 2021 I finally had all the parts I needed and built the PC live on my Twitch stream.
Days Gone is one of my favorite games, and I play it on Survival 2, so the theme of 2020 Days Gone Survival Mode just seemed to fit for my new computer.
My viewers on the live stream for the build voted that I should name the computer Stormtrooper, so that is the PCs official network name.
