What he does not expect is to be accused of committing a series of brutal murders. Now he has to escape imprisonment and find the real killer, but who can he trust other than a street thief with troubles of his own?
Zane has lived on the streets all his life and knows that when you trust others, you get hurt. Still, there is something about Gabriel that makes him risk his life to help the man. That, however, was before he knew Gabriel was a city guard. Zane has enough trouble without his fellow thieves finding out he is helping a city guard.
